This course is aimed at total beginners and anyone who is “WordPress curious”. If you run your own business, have a project that you want to promote and are thinking you need a website or blog and have no idea where to start, this is the course for you. This course can also be useful for those who have already DIY’d a site using another online platform (such as SquareSpace and Wix) who are wanting to know more about WordPress.
In this course you will go online and make a simple WordPress website using the free online version. In this part of the course you’ll set up your site, choose a template, create pages, add text and images, add headings and create a menu. By the end of this you’ll have a simple site that you can keep or delete and you’ll also understand the limitations of the free vs. hosted and self-hosted versions of WordPress.
